Lin Feng transmigrates to Chang'an in a parallel world and discovers that he is at the venue for the national television drama competition, competing for a place in the top 32 out of 64 contestants.
Contestants must create a film or television work based on a given prompt.
The latest prompt, assigned by judge Ning Caishen, is “Chang'an,” and the genre is “period drama.”
Images flash through Lin Feng's mind: the chubby Di Renjie, and the memories of being a terrified schoolboy, trembling under the control of a drama's frightening atmosphere and costumes.
When a plump, lovable, honest, kindly uncle of a man named Di Renjie first appears before the audience, everyone is stunned.
But as the story unfolds, the incredible wisdom and courage of this chubby uncle gradually win everyone's hearts.
The “Bloodstained Eagle Case” deep within the imperial palace,
The “Snake Spirit Case” circulating among the common folk,
The “Black Garment Society” that sends shock waves through the court and country...
With extraordinary powers of observation and deduction, Uncle Di pulls back the veil on one baffling mystery after another, leaving everyone in awe.
As he solves the cases,
This endearing uncle is sometimes quick-witted and humorous, sometimes serious and earnest. Every word he says becomes a classic among readers:
“Yuanfang, what do you think?”
“Do you think I can be your wife?”
“This case isn't as simple as it looks.”
“Great Governor of Youzhou!”
“Those limbs are hilarious!”
The readers are going wild!
Not bad. It's quite good. I feel like I'm watching a TV series again!
Good looking and to my liking
I was suddenly attracted to this genre, and I also happen to like Detective Di Renjie, so I clicked in to watch it. Not very enjoyable to watch. Come on, author.
