This book gave me a lot to think about, such as where we come from and where we are going. The viewpoints in the book are very novel and gave me a new understanding of human history and the future. Especially regarding the impact of technological development on human beings, it reminds me of the current Internet and artificial intelligence. Are we really ready to embrace these changes? However, this also makes me cherish my current life more and create beautiful memories with the people I like.

After reading the entire trilogy of Brief History, I feel that intelligence and consciousness are being decoupled, and that the current human race may really become Neanderthals in the future. The trilogy triggers a subversive rethinking of worldview, values, and outlook on life!
