Synopsis:
Ji Xi is a delicate little flower, carefully sheltered in a greenhouse. He’s useless at everything except throwing his weight around at home.
The young master Ji has spent his entire life surrounded by sweetness. The only thing he can’t have is his childhood friend and neighbor, Lu Chengyi.
So he tries every trick in the book to wear down the gentle, indulgent older brother, who has always been soft-hearted toward him. At last, he gets the green light to pursue him. He does win him over, but the domineering, unreasonable, petty, possessive, scheming man in front of him is nothing like the gentle older brother who would give him the stars if he asked, and the moon if he didn’t.
Zhou Shenshu likes Yu Han. It isn’t love at first sight, but love that deepens over time. The trouble is, Yu Han never catches on and only wants a simple roommate relationship.
Pretending to be harmless and playing the victim don’t work, and being direct only makes Yu Han retreat farther, until he finally packs up and runs. Fine, if Zhou Shenshu can’t win him over with patient persistence, he’ll make him fall in love by force.
Main couple: Lu Chengyi, a gentle and indulgent top at first, later scheming, domineering, and full of little tricks, x Ji Xi, an arrogant and willful young master who knows nothing of ordinary life, the bottom.
Side couple: Zhou Shenshu, a playful, flirtatious, carefree yet devoted top, x Yu Han, a self-reliant and hardworking bottom from a poor family.
It's nice to read, but the author's books are all relatively short and feel a little interrupted.
