You work for a full-immersion game currently in closed beta. Before the game is released on the platform, you and the studio discover a strange piece of code that will prevent players from logging out. After discussing it, the studio decides to send you into the game to investigate the code’s origin.
You thought it would be a simple maintenance task, but you end up trapped in the game world too. And everyone around you in the real world seems to have their own ulterior motives.
[Everyone is yandere to varying degrees. Pick your favorite, and the ending is one-on-one.]
1. The aloof team leader Xie Lang: He acts cold and distant, but the moment you turn around, his eyes are fixed on you.
2. Your gentle childhood friend Lin Jing: He carefully collects the clothes you’ve worn since childhood, the strands of hair you’ve shed, and things that mysteriously disappeared when you weren’t looking.
3. The sharp-tongued doctor Gu Chi: He says cruel things to your face, but once you turn away, he looks you over without restraint.
4. Your insecure coworker Dai Ze: He stammers whenever he talks to you, but it isn’t because he’s shy.
5. Your puppy-like junior Song Xingyu: The sunny boy who sinks three-pointers on the basketball court is actually a stalker.
