Character setup:
[Scheming head of the Ink Painting Hall, Xu Luochen x cheerful artist bottom, Mo Shaoyan]
In this world, painting reigns supreme, and painters hold high status and are revered by all. Mo Shaoyan, the second son of the painting family Mo, has a distinctive style that the world despises. Xu Luochen, young head of the Ink Painting Hall, is mature beyond his years, taciturn, and keeps everyone at arm’s length. He is the very picture of a strikingly handsome ice-cold beauty. In the eyes of the world, the two are sworn enemies. In truth, they grew up together and have long harbored feelings for each other. Just as their relationship begins to come into the open, Mo Shaoyan gets caught up in a strange organization and can’t escape. One event after another deepens the rift between them. As the truth gradually comes to light, the person behind it all turns out to be him? Who is sincere, and who is pretending?
Early on:
Mo Shaoyan: My childhood friend is wonderful. He’s beautiful, talented, gentle, and considerate, the perfect husband material.
Later:
Mo Shaoyan: The longest road I ever walked was the maze of my childhood friend’s schemes.
It's very nice, and the characters are vividly written. However, the last few chapters are a bit confusing. I think it would be better to enlarge the cruelty in the last few chapters. The last few chapters are also written in a sloppy way, and there are many questions that have not been written out. If it is not forced to be sweet, I think the last few chapters may have a bigger feeling of being. (My personal opinion)
