General Gu Zhao vs. Actor Xie Yi
, , ,
He is a general, the commander-in-chief of the empire’s armies.
He is an actor, a lonely figure on a tiny stage.
He wants to clip his wings and keep him forever in a narrow little world.
He wants to escape his chains and leave this soul-devouring prison forever.
Xie Yi: Thank you, General, for letting me go.
Gu Zhao: A Yi, I know you love your freedom. I won’t force you to stay.
