However, they do happen. Maurice Leblanc (1864-1941), a famous French novelist, was awarded the French Government Medal for Novel Writing. He had a prolific output throughout his life, writing 20 novels and more than 50 short stories, especially the "Arson Robin" series of the most popular. He was a master of detective and adventure literature in the world.
