Works by Maurice Leblanc, a towering master of detective and adventure fiction
Who could have imagined that a fallen boundary marker would spark a war between two great powers? And who could have imagined that a love affair spiraling out of control would plunge a once happy, harmonious family into war and ruin? Yet both things really happened. Maurice Leblanc (1864-1941) was a renowned French novelist who received a medal for literary achievement from the French government. A prolific writer, he authored twenty novels and more than fifty short stories. He was best known for the gentleman thief Arsene Lupin series and was one of the great masters of detective and adventure fiction.
