Twinkle Twinkle: Goodbye, Yimi Flower

[September Sky + secret, long-held love + September and October + March and April. The early story mainly focuses on September and October, with less about March and April, though they’ll get more attention later. Liu Xing’s pairing hasn’t been decided yet. The overall plot will stay close to the book and comic, but September’s romance will change, which may affect Liu Xing and October’s appearances.] After a mysterious person predicts that September of the Black Moon Iron Riders and October will ultimately destroy each other, September chooses to have her deep love for October erased. She leaves Black Moon Island and sets off with Dr. Q on a journey to uncover the treasures of the ancient Xisilan Kingdom. During their adventure, she and October depend on each other through life and death, fighting side by side, and fall in love all over again. When faced with hardship, September remembers the yimi flower, which symbolizes “fleeting love.” She would rather believe in its second meaning, “hope,” and see it as a sign of hope for the love between her and October. The diary filled with their memories and affection finally finds its rightful place. Together, they face the future, living and dying as one. [Excerpt 1] September: “Enough. No one matters more to me than you do. I’ve listened to you enough already. From now on, you’re going to listen to me…” October: “…All right… If we survive this, will you stay by my side?” [Excerpt 2] October: “Xiao Jiu, someone’s outside. Mm…” September: “No talking. Focus! Don’t worry, they can’t get in.” October: “…Mm… September… I love you.” September: “I love you too.”
