This Celestial Master Is a Little Crazy, and Every Ghost Begs Him to Join the Ranks

[Lighthearted comedy + supernatural forces return + zany antics]

Lin Xiuyuan transmigrates to a parallel world and accidentally becomes a Taoist priest.

When he goes down the mountain to gain experience, his eccentric master vanishes from their dilapidated temple.

To make ends meet, Lin Xiuyuan sets up on the street and starts telling fortunes.

Who would have thought that a wealthy businessman would show up on opening day?

Businessman: “Master, I recently bought a villa, and I keep dreaming of a red-clad female ghost climbing onto the head of my bed in the middle of the night. Do you think the place is haunted? Is there some Taoist method to deal with it? I’ll pay whatever it takes.”

Lin Xiuyuan: “A red-clad female ghost? A haunted house? Taoist magic?”

Just as Zhang Xiuyuan stares in confusion,

Ding! The Host’s location has been detected as a space where supernatural forces are returning and monsters are wreaking havoc among humanity. The Taoist Madman System has automatically been unlocked for the Host.

As this is the Host’s first time binding with the System, one god-tier choice is awarded:

Option One: Pretend to accept the businessman’s request, then swindle him out of his money and teach him how treacherous people can be. Reward: [Sword-Flying Technique *1] [Invisibility Technique *1]

Option Two: Sneak into the haunted house, find the red-clad vengeful ghost, and force a dual cultivation session with her to absorb her yin essence and aid your cultivation. Reward: [Yin-Yang Dual Cultivation Technique *1] [Ghost Pet *1]

Option Three: Take death in stride and fight whoever won’t submit. Use eighteen years’ worth of virgin boy urine to wake the vengeful ghost and show it what real misery feels like. Reward: [Pure Yang Daoist Body *1] [Maximum-Level Palm Thunder] [Maximum-Level Fiery Eyes]

Lin Xiuyuan looks over the three options offered by the System, then silently rummages through his bag and puts on his master’s purple Taoist robe.

“Lead the way. Today, this Celestial Master will rid you of that demon.”
