Blurb [Rekindled love + the prodigal returns + mutual healing + both leads are faithful to each other] The rating may be low because too few of you have rated it… Give it more ratings and it’ll go up… I’m crying… [Brash, wild, arrogant rich heir × gentle, sweet-tempered but stubborn and withdrawn school beauty] The new transfer student, Meng Zhui, is the heir to the Meng family, the most powerful family among the wealthy. He is unruly, arrogant, and does whatever he pleases. His girlfriends are always changing, and rumors say he has ties to the underworld. His friends bet him that he couldn’t get Su Chen to say she liked him. Meng Zhui’s repeated acts of protection make Su Chen lose her heart. Later, Su Chen confesses to him. Meng Zhui grins roguishly. “Sorry, I was only trying to win a bet with my friends by getting you to fall for me.” - When they meet again later, Su Chen has always believed that everything between them was just a chaotic ordeal she went through alone. Who could have guessed that Meng Zhui would later kneel before Su Chen in reverence? “Baby, please don’t ignore me…” Su Chen cries in anger. Meng Zhui wraps an arm around her waist and pulls her into his embrace. “Don’t cry, you little tyrant! My heart’s breaking!” - You can stay pure and clean. I don’t care if my hands are stained with blood. To protect the light in your eyes, I’d do anything, and I’d gladly keep doing it until my dying breath. He is Su Chen’s dark knight, clearing every obstacle in her path!
