Through the reappearance of a series of real events and characters, Su Shi's magnificent turn from phoenix nirvana in adversity was created. This is the most comprehensive and readable book I have read about Su Shi's four years in Huangzhou. It allowed me to understand a different Su Shi. I also learned that Su Shi's Dongpo layman originally came from Huanggang. The eternal masterpiece "Red Cliff Nostalgic" was also written in Huanggang. Huanggang really made Su Dongpo, and Su Dongpo also made Huanggang!
