Honkai Impact 3rd: Wings of the Abyss

“Why? Why is this world always filled with sorrow and despair?”

“Will this unending Collapse, bringing disaster and destruction again and again, truly never come to an end?”

“How many more times? How many more times must I watch helplessly as lives wither and fade, as the people I love leave me?”

But we really have no way to stop it. This world seems to be nothing but despair and sorrow.

“Then what if you were given a chance? A chance to change all this? A chance to truly bring it to an end.”

“Do you have the resolve, the courage? Are you ready to face the collapsing world ahead? Even if hope is faint, even if your path leads through ruins and thorns?”

“Even though you never had to bear any of this.”

“If what you say is true, then I will. I will strive, I will save what I can, and I will rewrite this despair.”

“Even if the price is more than I can bear.”

“If the world is sinking into the abyss, then I will grow wings and lift it back up.”

“Until the blue sky is ours again.”

The world of Collapse is a dark abyss, yet some wish to plunge into it.

Even the darkest abyss holds a glimmer of light, until it becomes a night sky filled with shining stars.

The cold abyss gives rise to a cocoon of new life, and twin butterflies take flight from the sea. Thus, it begins.

Will the story be different this time?
