If We Were Still Young

(Detective Yao Mocheng x Teacher Zhou Xiangnan + Flashbacks + Short Story + Bad Ending)

"Why do we have to live here?"

"Because your name is Zhou Xiangnan."

On Xiangnan Road, a strange old man appeared every day. No matter how bitter the winter or scorching the summer, he would stand on the street for a long time, as if waiting for someone.

When a familiar figure finally appeared, the old man cried like a child.

A study, a locked box, stacks of yellowed photographs, and a long-forgotten diary gradually brought the past back to mind.

He said that if he were still young, he would rather never test what the future held. Then could his beloved boy have stayed by his side forever...?
