It began when Lu Mochen met Huo Zhou and fell in love at first sight, pursuing him relentlessly.

Huo Zhou had planned to settle everything and then build a life with him.

But then he accidentally overheard what the man said while drunk.

“Just some old man. I'm already tired of playing with him.”

“...”

Huo Zhou sneered, kicked open the private-room door, and took the young master who'd been bragging inside home.

Then he locked him up in chains.

Huo Zhou gazed down at the man lying on the bed, his eyes dark and unfathomable. He ran his fingers over Lu Mochen's profile. “Didn't you say you were tired of playing? Then let's switch places. I'll have some fun with you.”

Their peaceful days lasted only a few more days before the young master's gun was pointed at Huo Zhou's head.

He said calmly, “Murder is against the law. Get out of this territory, and I'll spare your life.”

Before long, the man came after him anyway. In tears, he claimed he'd gone bankrupt and been dismissed, then mooched rides, a place to live, and even meals from Huo Zhou.

Huo Zhou smiled faintly, grabbed him by the collar, and pulled him close. The cold muzzle of a gun pressed against Lu Mochen's forehead.

He said lightly, “Commander Lu, harassing someone is against the law.”
