Great Song: Born a Poisonous Strategist, the Empress Tells Me to Keep Calm!

In a parallel Song dynasty, the empress asks Chen Feng,

“Jin forces are marching south and besieging Taiyuan. How should we respond?”

Chen Feng replies, “Give me enough gunpowder, and I’ll level Taiyuan to the ground!”

With locusts ravaging the land and Western Xia raising its forces, the empress is at a loss.

Chen Feng says, “Put out every fire in the city, and the locusts will swarm toward the Western Xia camp!”

The empress asks again, “I’ve been feeling unwell lately, and fear you might assassinate me one day, dear subject. Do you have any clever solution?”

Chen Feng replies, “I am willing to take Your Majesty as my concubine! Then you need only tend to your husband and raise your children, and won’t have to worry about affairs of state!”

The empress asks, “Just what does that girl from the Prince Chai’s household have that I don’t?”
