Synopsis

Alternate title: I Have Muzan’s Blood, Yet I Joined the Demon Slayer Corps

A once poor but happy life is shattered by the arrival of demons.

A boy with a strange constitution heads toward his ultimate fate.

Where will someone with Muzan’s blood lead the Demon Slayer Corps?

In what direction will the wheels of fate, unresolved for a thousand years, turn?

“I’m not the descendant of the Demon King you people claim I am. I’m the eldest son of the Anying family, the Shadow Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps: Anying Zhuoye!”

Even if my body is destroyed, I will cut down every demon.

I will never let anyone die again.

I will lead everyone harmed by demons toward a bright future once more.

Zhuoye means a torch that drives away the darkness.

I will never give up.

The protagonist is half human and half demon, with speed, strength, and perception far beyond ordinary people, as well as a photographic memory.

The protagonist joins the Corps before Tanjiro. He has his own story in the early stages, and the plot begins to follow the manga in the middle. He is fifteen when he joins the Corps, and nineteen during the manga’s timeline.
