As an Anomaly Investigator

(Inspired by the Backrooms, SCP, Lobotomy Corporation, and various horror, mystery, and supernatural novels and comics...)

Anomaly containment + slice of life + no romantic pairings + a touch of ensemble cast + individual character arcs + long-form story + not a power fantasy

A mannequin that brings terror, blue eyes inhabited by a parasitic soul, a post that must never be read, a magic box that stirs greed and desire...

One nightmare after another descends like a quagmire, dragging everyone deeper and deeper.

Everything moves toward the unknown, with no turning back.

Wu Xiang doesn’t know how long he can survive in this strange and dazzling world. All he can do is convince himself that one day, the familiar, ordinary world will open its doors once more and welcome them home.
