Midsummer, When the Mint Blossoms

(A sensitive, overthinking, emotionally tangled bottom × an action-oriented top who keeps people at arm's length and says the opposite of what he means)

On the first day of school, an excellent student suddenly sits beside Cheng Xi.

The only downside is that this “model student” has a face like a bitter melon.

Cheng Xi assumes he and Gu Qi won't get to know each other any better, but Gu Qi takes his joking offer to “be friends” seriously.

As they spend more time together, Cheng Xi suddenly realizes that Gu Qi may be more than just a good friend to him. His sensitive, awkward nature leads him to deliberately distance himself, but it only makes things worse.

Then, at a birthday party, Gu Qi takes him, drunk, straight back to his own place...

If you can't say it out loud, then just keep it in your heart.

But one day, without warning, Gu Qi leaves the country without a word. That night, Cheng Xi frantically deletes every one of Gu Qi's contact details, and the two of them lose touch for good...

Yet fate has other plans. Six years later, they run into each other by chance at a café. The easy conversation they once shared has turned into awkward silence, leaving them with nothing but “Long time no see”...
