Ning Jing is an ordinary modern girl whose life is unremarkable, until one extraordinary night. She is sitting at her computer, browsing all kinds of transmigration novels, longing for an unknown world. Suddenly, a dazzling white light shoots out of the screen and swallows her whole.
When she opens her eyes again, Ning Jing finds herself lying on an antique-style bed. The furnishings and decor all around her are unmistakably Qing Dynasty.
She has transmigrated.
