There will be some plot involving a traditional courtyard house, but it won't be a major part of the story. I'm just using it as a framework to explore some thoughts about that era. I enjoy reading, but I often come across scenes in other works that leave me disappointed. To make up for those disappointments, I've decided to try writing a novel of my own.
