Xia Qing, an all-around mercenary, unexpectedly becomes the bodyguard of Chu Qingci, an aloof, scandal-free movie emperor.
She protests, “I'm one of the top three mercenaries in the world, and a future contributor to weapons and medical advances.”
“He's paying a fortune, the work is easy, and the food's good.”
“In that case, fine.”
So she devotes herself to her career, all for the sake of making a fortune every day.
From bodyguard to part-time housekeeper, she eventually enters showbiz and even wins a Best Actress award by accident.
Just as life is getting better and better,
Chu Qingci unexpectedly starts pursuing love, and he has his sights set on her.
Xia Qing: “What, you want me to work for you and not pay me?”
Chu Qingci: “Marry me, and all my money is yours. My grandfather is the richest man in Huaguo.”
Xia Qing: “Hmph, having a grandfather is nothing special. He's my grandfather too.”
Chu Qingci smiles knowingly. “Then he's our grandfather.”
