Zhao San, Li Huida, and Zhang Daming transmigrated from the future to the Qing Dynasty, but their memories of transmigrating were erased. Later, at a certain point in time, they awakened to their memories of the future. They witnessed the literary inquisitions and the suffering of ordinary people, and took the imperial examination route. Discontent with the Qing court, they developed thoughts of rebellion after reading The Ten Days in Yangzhou and The Jiading Massacre. Those thoughts grew stronger over time. Drawing on their awakened memories from before they transmigrated, as well as their knowledge of future developments, they decided to join forces with like-minded people to overthrow the Qing. Win or lose, they would give it a try... But they had no idea that history had already changed course the moment they arrived in this world. Their campaign to overthrow the Qing would succeed...
