Synopsis:
Sun Yilun, a behind-the-scenes writer at an entertainment company, gets promoted along with a friend from the company after an unexpected staff reshuffle transfers them to a new department.
It should have been a good thing, but when Sun Yilun arrives, he discovers that this isn't really a new department at all. The previous livestream host jumped ship with the entire team, so their supervisor has dumped this hot potato on Sun Yilun and his colleagues, leaving them to put together a new livestreaming team.
The department's videos focus on "urban haunted-location investigations," drawing viewers with visits to haunted places and the unknown secrets behind eerie legends.
Sun Yilun decides to take things as they come. What he never expected was for the first location to be a real hit, and not just any hit: they encounter a ghost uncle. But wait... this ghost uncle claims to be an exorcist who specializes in driving away evil spirits? Seriously! Do ghosts make jokes too?
And so begins the absurd paranormal adventure of a supernatural YouTuber and a ghostly exorcist uncle!
