He Returned in Glory! Now He Wants Me as His Second Wife!

Three years ago, Lu Wangang, a cavalry general in the army, was nearly killed on the battlefield. He was saved at the last moment by Zhou Jie, a female general who risked her life to rescue him.

That very day, the imperial court had arranged their marriage, so they wed in the army.

Because his injuries were so severe, Lu Wangang could only return to the capital to recuperate. He parted from his wife, Zhou Jie, in tears and swore that once she returned victorious from the campaign, he would hold a grand wedding for her.

When the whole army returned in triumph, Lu Wangang asked Zhou Jie to become his secondary wife.

Your Lu family may wield overwhelming power, but that doesn’t mean I, Zhou Jie, am helpless. I’ll make Lu Wangang pay!

You made a promise with nothing but empty words? I’ll knock your teeth all over the floor!
