Li Yuan used to be an utterly ordinary high school student who had given up on trying.
He wasted his time in the best years of his life.
He slept through class, chatted between lessons, and headed to a dingy internet cafe at night for a few rounds of League of Legends.
His Yasuo play was so awful it made you want to cry.
One night, as Li Yuan walked out of the internet cafe, a shadow passed through his body.
From then on, Li Yuan discovered that he had been possessed by a little fox spirit.
He tried to exorcise the demon, only to get face-slapped instead.
As he spent more time with the little fox spirit, the real world gradually revealed itself to him.
It turned out that most of us exist only as dry-cell batteries to power the button that will resurrect the ancient gods.
While humanity must resist the will of the ancient gods, gigantic monsters from myth are breaking through their seals one after another and entering the human world.
They are bent on wiping out humanity and restoring the demon race's rule over the world.
Caught between the ancient gods and the monsters, humanity struggles to survive.
Young man, take up your sword and carve out a path for humanity.
