Tears and Pursuit

A person's life is like a flourishing tree, and every person is a fruit on its branches, weathering wind and rain and sharing sunshine and dew. This story describes rural life in the 1970s, another part of growing up. In those years, we learned resilience and hard work, and experienced the joy of reaping what we had sown. Then came the joys and sorrows of moving to the city for work after reform and opening up. Even now, we quietly shoulder society's burdens, yet often find it hard to put down the weight of life.
