Every Beginning Has a Cause, Every Rebirth Its Consequence

This is a mystery novel. There is no paranormal content.

The 1997 Asian financial crisis had a severe impact on every aspect of life for the people of Thailand. As the financial tycoon Soros plundered the economy, a series of stories that should never have happened began to unfold. Their effects can still be felt today.

This novel follows two high school students whose misguided actions during the financial crisis set off a chain reaction, ultimately leading to a terrible catastrophe. Even twenty years later, they still cannot escape the inexorable cycle of fate. As the saying goes, “Good is rewarded with good, and evil with evil. If the reward hasn't come, its time has yet to arrive.” Sometimes good and evil are not the result of a person's conscious choices, but everything in the world has a cause and an effect. Every beginning has its cause, and every cycle its consequence.
