Synopsis

I’m Squidward, an employee destined to work at the Krusty Krab: timid and cowardly, with no knack for innovation. I just play it safe and go with the flow. I’m tired of the job that puts food on the table, and I want other people to notice me. I have my own hobbies, keep to a small circle, and dislike socializing.

I’m pessimistic, introverted, and insecure. I just like playing my clarinet beneath the sea, but that annoying SpongeBob is always so optimistic. I know that’s a good thing, but I just don’t want to work that hard. I like being a little negative. To me, being positive is a mistake.

But my conscience tells me that being positive is right. If I want to be a slacker, I shouldn’t blame SpongeBob. I should reflect on my own negative thoughts and behavior.

Still, no matter how dreary life gets, when work calls for me to make Krabby Patties or serve customers as a cashier, I give it my wholehearted effort.

I long to succeed and make my dreams come true, but I don’t have what it takes. After accepting my mediocrity, I work even harder. Earning Mr. Krabs’s approval is already the greatest happiness of my life.

Rule-Based Horror Stories Where the Characters Don't Become Idiots

I’ve read lots of rule-based horror stories and noticed that most of them make some side characters ridiculously stupid. Are there any rule-based game stories where the enemies are genuinely formidable and the protagonist is just as capable, or maybe something really brainy? The protagonist must not be made stupid either!
