[Rebirth + Everyone's Survival + Shelter + Fresh Premise + D&D Setting + Scheming Protagonist + Nontraditional Power Fantasy!]
The sun is extinguished, and eternal night descends! Everyone is cast into the bottomless abyss! The skyscrapers of the past become new dungeons.
Barren plains, twisted forests, eternal-night cold, the Deep Dark Abyss, crimson magma... Ancient civilizations lie buried in underground ruins, while in the darkness, strange races of all shapes and sizes stir restlessly...
The shattered cities can no longer protect humanity! Fortunately, Li Ren has returned reborn with his memories from his previous life!
In this life, he won't be naive, and he won't play the self-sacrificing saint! Moral shackles, the glory of human nature? In the face of survival, they're all illusions! He will grip the bloodstained holy sword in his hand and build an impregnable, invincible underground city of his own atop the corpses coveted by countless races!
"Lord Li Ren, I hear those strange races all call you 'the demon among demons, the devil among devils'..."
Li Ren wiped the still-wet blood from his holy sword, the corner of his mouth curling into a cold, amused smile.
"Slander! Pure slander!"
"I merely solved their little problem of overpopulation and, as a bonus, raised their employment rate, giving them a taste of the blessings of a 24/7 work schedule. They can't even handle a little exercise? How delicate."
"As for me?"
He raised the holy sword glowing with crimson light, his tone reverent.
"I'm just a humble paladin devoted to maintaining order..."
Very detailed, even the property panel is very nice.
It's still good, dnd combines the global disaster category, author, come on
