The Bird and the Fishbowl

[The carefree rich playboy Lin Weize]/ [The cool, sensitive, delicate flower Jiang Xiao]

A transfer student named Jiang Xiao arrived at Yancheng No. 1 High School.

She was beautiful and an excellent student, and within her first week she became the school belle. But in a corner no one knew about, Lin Weize discovered her quietly crying.

Through spring, when flowers bloomed; summer, when torrential rain poured; autumn, when maple leaves fell to the ground; and winter, when heavy snow blanketed the earth, Jiang Xiao was always like a dying bird trapped in a fishbowl, motionless. Only her pride forced her to hold her head high and stand tall. Then one day, a mischievous child broke the fishbowl, and at last she welcomed the free wind.

Even the love he had kept hidden for so long surged fiercely the moment he saw her.

Later in the story, the male lead becomes a narcotics officer, and the female lead is a doctor.
