Martial arts + witchcraft and poison arts + romance + family clans + imperial power

After a series of brushes with death and twists of fate, the innocent, kindhearted, spirited heroine becomes the terrifying progenitor of witchcraft and poison arts.

Members of the great clans call her a witch in their attempts to seize her peerless martial arts and secret witchcraft techniques.

Driven to the brink by them all, the heroine takes her own life.

Even after her death, the great clans never obtain a single martial arts manual or secret witchcraft technique.

Bound by his clan’s interests and his own sense of duty, the aloof and withdrawn hero is tormented by inner conflict.

He is constantly torn between protecting the heroine and upholding what he believes is right.

When he watches her die with his own eyes, he regrets everything.

But is there still any chance to make amends?
