This book is divided into three parts, consisting of engineering thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer. The engineering thermodynamics part mainly covers: the basic concepts and laws of thermodynamics, the thermophysical properties of commonly used working fluids and basic thermodynamic processes, the flow of gases and steam, analysis and calculation of typical steam power cycles and refrigeration cycles; the fluid mechanics part mainly talks about: the basic physical properties of fluids, hydrostatics Science, basics of fluid dynamics, pressure flow characteristics of viscous fluids and energy loss calculations; the heat transfer part mainly talks about: basic laws and calculation methods of heat conduction, convective heat transfer, and radiation heat transfer, analysis and calculation methods of heat transfer processes and optimization control measures, types of heat exchangers and heat transfer calculation methods. Each chapter is accompanied by realistic typical examples, thinking questions and exercises, and the appendix is accompanied by typical experiments on thermal fluids, answers to exercises, simulation questions and reference answers. This book combines the basic theoretical knowledge of thermal engineering and fluids and can be used as a teaching material or teaching reference book for thermal control and automation, heating engineering, environmental engineering, thermal energy engineering, refrigeration and cryogenic engineering, thermal measuring instruments and related majors. It can also be used as a training material for energy and power professionals, or as a reference book for related engineering and technical personnel.
