Humanity has been around for nearly a million years, but only the last 4,000 have mattered.
So, what were we doing for nearly 25,000 years? We hid in caves, huddled around tiny campfires, afraid of the things we didn’t understand: explanations for how the sun rose, monsters with human heads and bird bodies, and stones that were alive. So we called them “gods” and “demons,” begging them for forgiveness and praying to be saved.
Then their numbers dwindled, while ours grew. As the things we feared became fewer, we began to look at the world more rationally. Yet the inexplicable never disappeared, as though the universe were deliberately showing us how absurd and incredible it could be.
Humanity can no longer live in fear. Nothing can protect us. We must protect ourselves.
While others live in the sunlight, we must fight them in the shadows and keep them hidden from the public, so that everyone else can live in a rational, ordinary world.
We control, we contain, we protect.

I haven't read it for long, and I don't need to read it for long. There are very few topics about foundations. It's not enough to write so many articles like this. Come on, the author. I give you five stars. Try hard to write and don't stop updating. I really hope that the topic of foundations will continue.
