An innocent young man × a rough-around-the-edges girl. Xie Yu and Jiang Zhi save each other, support one another, and weather countless hardships together. The words Xie Yu says most often to Jiang Zhi are, “Jiang Zhi, I love you.” Everyone knows how deeply he loves her. They promised each other forever, with eleven roses and one resolute confession after another. But in the end, he was left behind in the pandemic. All that remained were eleven roses, carrying the weight of her longing.
Jiang Zhi, I love you!
I know, Xie Yu.
I don't think I'll ever meet anyone better than you. I'm so lucky to have had you in my life. Xie Yu, I love you!
In the end, he died on her back, on an ordinary evening after school, beneath the same plane trees.
