A Cursed Blessing

“When I was young, I was fortunate enough to receive a goddess's blessing. She granted me divine strength and boundless power.

Later, I traveled the land, standing up for the weak and fighting the strong.

Once, I happened to rescue a handsome young man who had been convicted of a lewd offense. I scolded him for being a shameless rogue.

He said he had been cursed by the goddess: if he didn't receive a kiss from someone who truly loved him before he turned twenty, he would die.”
