The Terrifying Curse

The Terrifying Cursed Incantation

In a remote, peaceful mountain village stood an ancient, sinister mansion. It loomed on the edge of the village, surrounded by dense woods and exuding an air of loneliness and mystery. Its weathered walls bore the marks of time, and its faded doors and windows seemed to tell tales of bygone days. A series of bizarre deaths had once taken place in the mansion. The villagers passed down those spine-chilling stories from generation to generation, and it was said that anyone who entered the mansion at night would be ensnared by a terrifying curse.

Many years later, one night, a group of young people who had no idea what they were getting into heard the legend. Curious and eager for adventure, they decided to test it for themselves. They were Li Ming, who was overconfident in his own bravery; the lively Xiaoyan; the steady, levelheaded Zhang Wei; and the timid, cowardly Wang Qiang.

They agreed to meet on a dark, stormy night in front of the mansion. Darkness shrouded the land. A few faint rays of moonlight seeped through the clouds, but they could not illuminate the full extent of the sinister mansion.

Li Ming, their leader, gazed at the mysterious mansion before them, a strange excitement rising within him. He turned to the others and said, “Don’t be scared. These are obviously just stories meant to frighten people. Let’s go in and see for ourselves!” The others were nervous, but with Li Ming leading the way, they steeled themselves and entered the mansion.

As soon as they stepped inside, a chill swept over them. Dense fog filled the courtyard, so thick they could barely see the path ahead.
