Between the Huanghuai River and the Huaihe River, there is an artificial canal called Honggou. In 363 BC, King Hui of Wei built a divide that ran through the Huaihe River and the Yellow River. The rear chasm was constantly involved in wars and became a waterway dividing Chu and Han. The Chu-He-Han realm on the chessboard is bounded by the chasm. Since its completion, Honggou has been one of the main transportation routes between the Huanghuai River and the Huaihe River during the Qin, Han, Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties.
