Back to the War of Resistance: I Blast the Japanese with Cannons

Tang Chu is a recent graduate of the police academy. On her third day on the job after passing the criminal police exam, she is stabbed in the abdomen by a criminal and falls unconscious at the scene. When she wakes up, she discovers that she has transmigrated to the War of Resistance against Japan. Her new self is the daughter of a local gentry family, recently returned from studying abroad. She has never wanted for food or clothing, and her parents adore her while her older brother dotes on her. She is the apple of everyone’s eye. Unfortunately, the front line collapses, and the Japanese invaders enter the city, killing and looting. Her entire family dies at the hands of the invaders while trying to get her out of the city. In the end, bandits from a nearby mountain rescue her.

Tang Chu, back in the War of Resistance era, declares: “Here comes the stepping stone I need to rewrite the family tree!”

[Reader’s guide: This is a female-led story focused on the plot. The male lead appears late, and there is very little romance, which mostly features in the bonus chapters. One last important point: the main story has a tragic ending, but the bonus chapters have a happy ending. Please understand, as this is a story about the War of Resistance!

Thank you!]
