The apocalypse arrives, and danger lurks everywhere.

Surrounded by human zombies and mutated plants and animals, Zhou Zhou struggles to survive with her four-year-old daughter, Xiaodingdang. But danger is nothing to fear when you have supernatural powers.

One day, Zhou Zhou meets Cheng Kun, a spirited young man. They have never met before, yet hit it off at once like old friends. They start calling each other brother and sister, only to discover that Cheng Kun has a special ability: he's practically a zombie detector. He also discovers that Zhou Zhou is carrying twins, and the world instantly spins around her...

Their group of survivors grows day by day, but while Zhou Zhou is waiting to give birth, they unexpectedly encounter a terrifyingly powerful Zombie King. Wait, isn't that the father of her children? Zhou Zhou makes herself clear: “Forget being a Zombie King. You'd better get back to being a decent human being!”
