Synopsis

He transmigrates and becomes King Yama, ruler of life and death. After diligently serving as an underworld official for thousands of years, the calamity of Journey to the West begins. The merit from the pilgrimage doesn't go to him, but when it's time to take the blame, they think of him? Fine! The Devious Plot System is activated. I'll make you all pay! Fengdu Ghost Emperor: King Yama, that monkey is about to break into the underworld. You need to help him erase his name from the Book of Life and Death. Tang Yu: Fine. I'll send the Book of Life and Death to the Jade Emperor and let him erase the names himself. I'm not taking the blame! After Sun Wukong wreaks Havoc in Heaven and erases names from the Book of Life and Death, the Jade Emperor is dumbfounded. Jade Emperor: You're still the one who has to erase the names, King Yama. Tang Yu: Fine. Castrate that monkey, cut off all four of his limbs, and gouge out his eyes. Then he can become a good monk, free of all desire! Buddha: You can't! If the monkey is crippled, how will he protect Tang Seng on the journey to the West? Laojun: Young brother, the merit from this pilgrimage is immense. Too bad it has nothing to do with you or me! Tang Yu: Laojun, didn't you transform the barbarians into Buddhists and establish Buddhism? The rise of Buddhism is all about you, isn't it? The Jade Emperor urges him to calm down, Buddha begs him for mercy, and Meng Po begs him to let it go...
