After She Left, Mr. Chen Regretted His Ruthless Pursuit

[Coercive possession] [Love at first sight] [Violent and calculating] [Mercurial] [Unhinged and obsessive] [Mutual torment] [She runs, he chases, and she has no way to escape]

Just after finishing her college entrance exams, Yan Liran first meets Chen Xiuru at a service station. She never imagined that this encounter would make it impossible to escape him. To evade Chen Xiuru and bury the past she never wanted to speak of, Yan Liran flees to Canada in the middle of the night. She thinks she has found the right person there, only to discover it is a trap woven from love, and that she has become a pawn used to control another man. Betrayed by both family and love, Yan Liran loses all hope. The child she carries becomes her only reason to keep going. This time, Chen Xiuru won’t let her go so easily.

What is the right way to love?

Years later, Yan Liran stands barefoot in a white dress, separated from the man opposite her by the custom-built steel partition. She looks at him with distant, indifferent eyes.

“Chen Xiuru, do you really love me?”

Their tangled bond cannot be severed. They can only go on tormenting each other.
