Epoch Academy: This Is a World of Magic!

[Ensemble cast, romance included. Romance readers, stay away. The transmigrator is not the protagonist.]

A magical planet closely connected to the human world is marked by its eras. At its center are five stars, with two outstretched wings below them.

Each star represents an era. The first era, the Era of Rule, was the dawn of civilization. The ancients went through division and reunification, gradually splitting into two factions: the Winged and the Shadowfolk. The two peoples fought many wars and grew to hate each other, until the first ruler of the Winged rallied them to rise up. The Winged became the rulers of the continent.

The second era, the Era of Rebellion, saw the Shadowfolk return to power and slaughter the Winged in great numbers, driving them from their homes. The Shadowfolk’s cruel rule forced the Winged to rebel. One of the greatest rebels, relying on his immense strength, perished alongside the Shadowfolk ruler, finally bringing their reign to an end.

The third era, the Era of Healing, began after the Shadowfolk’s rule had left the Winged struggling to rebuild their homes in despair. Hope remained faint, and casualties were immense. The most powerful Winged mage of the time possessed healing magic. He worked tirelessly to heal them until the Winged had once again flourished. Then he used every last bit of his magic to create a protective barrier, exhausting his power completely.

The fourth era, the Era of Light, began when the Winged prospered under the protection of their barrier and became the dominant power on land. But after growing comfortable, some ambitious Winged began craving even greater power...
