Chronicles of Azure Waters and Soaring Clouds

"The shame of Jingkang remains unavenged; when will the hatred of a subject be wiped away?"

In the eleventh year of Shaoxing, under a howling north wind and a bleak snowstorm, the great hero Yue Fei fulfilled his vow, "Heaven's sun shines bright," with his life. Though Wu Mu has fallen, the resistance against the Jin continues. If the court offers no place to men of benevolence and honor, they must scatter into the jianghu and quietly prepare for the greater struggle, preserving the true spirit of its heroes.

The Southern Song court's craven retreat can bring only temporary peace, never satisfy the Jin's ever-growing ambitions. Two or three decades pass in a flash. Wanyan Liang, Prince of Hailing, murders the emperor and takes the throne, declaring his ambition to water his horses in the Yangtze and plant his banner on Wu Mountain.

The storm is coming, and the great edifice is about to fall. Coups, pursuit, alliances, and bloody battles... None can defeat these heroic young men, whose hearts are true and loyal. They treat perilous terrain as level ground and stand proudly against the clear autumn sky!
