College student Li Hao is chased by a shadowy figure in his dorm, and narrowly escapes. After noticing some clues, he suddenly awakens his Death Soul one night and discovers that Soul Masters exist in this world. They make contracts with Death Souls to gain their powers. As Li Hao encounters one new thing after another, he gradually grows stronger and fulfills his role in this world of Death Souls.
