Drowning in Fire, Deaf to the World

Here’s a quick introduction!

It’s a college campus story.

The main plot follows Qiao and Meng. They start out pretending, but it turns into something real.

The subplot follows Jiang and Lu. One falls in love secretly, while the other is drawn to them.

The girl had a slight crush on him in high school, but not much of one. She was focused on studying, while admiring and looking up to the male lead. It was the sort of thing where a girl sees a handsome boy with good grades and can’t help glancing at him a few times, but doesn’t keep thinking about him all the time. The boy, however, was drawn to her personality and the way she studied in high school. It’s the kind of thing where a girl thinks she doesn’t measure up, but others can still find her appealing. The events from their high school days set up their story, and I’m still writing that part, so it won’t appear in the book for now.

That’s roughly what this book is about. Please forgive me for not having figured out how to write their formal introduction yet.
