Shen Nong's Materia Medica (Classic of Enlightenment of Traditional Chinese Medicine)

This book is one of the major works by Chen Xiuyuan, a physician in the Qing Dynasty. "Shen Nong's Materia Medica" is Chen Xiuyuan's experience after carefully studying "Shen Nong's Materia Medica". It is divided into four volumes and selects 160 commonly used medicines from the 365 categories listed in the "Ben Jing". The original text has been analyzed by contemporary doctors and myself using clinical experience of each medicine. The whole book integrates the purport of the "Nei Jing" and the methods of "Shanghan" to clarify the performance and efficacy of each medicine. It can be regarded as a book for the study of materia medica and clinical prescriptions.
