A Fading Dream

Updated daily at 7:00 and 18:00 [Devoted, love-struck regent x sinister emperor who hides his true nature] Couple name: Song Yu Xiaozi (just because it sounds better) Mu Zixiu, the late emperor's adopted son, staged a coup and killed the emperor. He installed his beloved, the eldest prince Xia Yusong, on the throne and imprisoned the crown prince in the Eastern Palace. On the day Xia Yusong ascended the throne, Mu Zixiu proclaimed himself regent and looked down at the new emperor, saying icily, “Congratulations, Your Majesty.” To outsiders, the regent is a ruthless, calculating, ambitious man with power over the entire court. In truth, he's a hopeless romantic, utterly devoted to the emperor. And the seemingly weak, pitiful, helpless new emperor, dismissed as a puppet, is actually a ruthless player who manipulates everyone around him. But the new emperor has gone mad? No problem. The regent takes him on vacation.
