From the Shunzhi Dynasty to the fifteenth year of Kangxi, floods occurred frequently, and the Yellow River burst as many as 45 times. The Qing government appointed five river governors successively, but all ended in failure. After Kangxi came to power, he appointed Jin Fu, the governor of Anhui, as the governor of the river channel to preside over river management in the Huaisu area. Jin Fu worked hard and with the help of his staff Chen Huangxiang, he managed the Yellow River to return to its original path. It took more than 16 years to repair and control the river course, and finally achieved success. The remaining works "Jin Wenxiang Gong's Proposal" and "River Control Strategies" have become famous works on the history of water conservancy in my country and have been valued by future generations.
