Lin Xiao, a modern-day homebody, accidentally transmigrates to ancient times after being struck by lightning. In this unfamiliar world, she meets Prince Qi. System 007 tells her she must win Prince Qi's heart and find sweet love with him to return to the modern world. From their first collision in a garden to all the efforts Lin Xiao makes afterward, her liveliness, wit, and sincerity gradually win their way into Prince Qi's heart. After weathering numerous twists and turns, including obstacles of status, others' interference, and misunderstandings that arise and are resolved, their feelings grow ever stronger. But their path to love is far from smooth: political enemies target them, and rumors bring one crisis after another. Still, they face everything together, holding fast to their convictions. In the end, they resolve the crises, confess their love, and begin a sweet romance. Then disaster threatens the world once more, and they fight side by side again, successfully saving it. After that come happy milestones such as preparing for and holding their wedding. Their married life is blissful, and years later they are surrounded by children and grandchildren, remaining happily by each other's side. Looking back on the past, their love is eternal.
